This song was written as Fran had to face the fears and doubts that come with feeling extreme emotions for another person; she was worried they would “play me like a song, on repeat, until they were bored of having me around”. The track was recorded in Kensington, London, with producer Andrew Chappell. They wanted to keep it simple but layered. Andrew played the electric guitar, Fran played the acoustic. They built it up with harmonies and synths, keeping breaths in where they felt natural.
